Please note that due to the S4 trip to Mainland China, the audition has been rescheduled again for Friday, 12 April 2024.

We are excited to announce that the MC audition for our Annual Performance 2024 is now open!

This year’s performance will be held on May 16, 2024, and we are looking for confident, charismatic, and engaging S4 and S5 students to serve as MCs. The selected MCs will host the Annual Performance mainly in English.

Whether you are an experienced public speaker or just looking to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, we encourage you to sign up for the audition!

To sign up, simply fill in the online form by Sunday, March 31, 2024, and we will be in touch with more information about the audition process.

The 75th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (2023) (English Speech) is now open for entries. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to appreciate and recite a poem while improving your speaking skills.

Important points to note:

The entry fee for the competition is $150, but you will only be required to pay $50 as the school will sponsor the remaining $100. This year, all competitions will be held in live competition mode, meaning you will need to attend the competition at a designated venue. For more details, visit the official website:

We are now just 3 days away from K S Lo Can Sing 2023🎤! In addition to the awards for the top 4 finishers, we will also be presenting the K S Lo’s Favourite Performance Award, which will be determined by all of your votes that day!

Your Class Teacher will provide each of you with a voting token (投票密碼) this Friday morning. To vote for your favourite performance, you should:

  1. Attend K S Lo Can Sing 2023 with your voting token and smartphone.
    帶同你的投票密碼和智能手機出席 K S Lo Can Sing 2023。
  2. Visit http://vote.kslo.hk on your smartphone when you are ready to vote.
    當準備好投票時，在智能手機上訪問 http://vote.kslo.hk。
  3. Make a choice, enter your voting token in ALL CAPS, and press ‘Vote’.
    作出選擇，以全大階字母輸入投票密碼，然後按「Vote」。

 

After the last performance, you will have 5 minutes to cast your vote. Please note that you will not be able to change your choice after submission.

Our annual English singing contest – K S Lo Can Sing 2023 – is finally back and now open for entries! Details are as follows:

  • Date: Friday, 14 July 2023
  • Time: 9:30am
  • Venue: School Hall

Contest Rules 比賽規則

  • All songs must be performed in English and not contain coarse expressions.
    所有歌曲必需以英語演出，不得包含粗言穢語。
  • Performers should provide their accompaniment (audio file / YouTube / live music).
    參賽者需自行準備配樂（聲音檔／YouTube／現場伴奏）。
  • All competitors compete in the same category.
    所有參賽者在同一組別作賽。
  • The maximum duration for each performance is 8 minutes. *NEW
    每個表演的最長時間為8分鐘。
  • Each student is allowed to give at most ONE individual performance and TWO group performances in this contest. *NEW
    在此比賽中，每位學生最多可以參與一次個人表演和兩次團體表演。
  • There is no limit to the number of performers in each performance.
    每個演出人數不限。
  • Students may invite teachers to participate in their performance.

We are excited to announce that the audition for the Masters of Ceremonies (MCs) for our school’s Annual Performance 2023 is now open!

The Annual Performance is one of the biggest events of the school year, and we are looking for the best and most talented students from S1 to S5 to take on the role of MCs. This year’s performance will be held in mid-May, and we are looking for confident, charismatic, and engaging students to help make it a memorable event. As an MC, you will have the opportunity to showcase your public speaking skills and set the tone for the entire performance. You will work closely with the event organisers to plan and execute the show, and you will be an integral part of making it a success.

Whether you are an experienced public speaker or just looking to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, we encourage you to sign up for the audition. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain experience, and make a positive impact on the school community.
