‘Time to Talk’ S4 Public Speaking Competition 2026
We are excited to announce the ‘Time to Talk’ S4 Public Speaking Competition 2026—a wonderful opportunity to overcome your fear of speaking English publicly and to share your thoughts with confidence. Below are the details:
- Date: 6 May 2026 (Wed; Day 4)
- Time: 1:30pm – 2:05pm
- Venue: English Café
- Eligibility: S4 Students
- Number of Participants: 12 (1 boy and 1 girl from each English Group, on a first-come, first-served basis)
- Format: Each student selects one of the following topics and delivers a 3-minute speech in English:
- Teens’ right to free time
- Importance of free time for young people
- My favourite time with my parents and friends
- How I spend my free time?
- Exploring creativity in my free time
- Awards:
- Champion (Certificate + $300 Book Coupon)
- Second Place (Certificate + $200 Book Coupon)
- Third Place (Certificate + $100 Book Coupon)
- Merit Awards x 2 (Certificate + $50 Book Coupon)
