Have you ever been overloaded with schoolwork? Were you frustrated about it? In my opinion, I think being overloaded with schoolwork is tiring and stressful, but it’s also a good experience for me to learn.
Firstly, I think being overloaded with schoolwork is exhausting because I have experienced it before. On that day, there was a lot of homework, and I had music lessons until 6 p.m. When I got back home, it was already 6:30 p.m. After I finished taking a bath and having dinner, it was 8:30 p.m. Then, I started to do my homework and finished it at 10 p.m. Finally, I had to do revisions for the next day, and it all ended at 11 p.m. I was really tired and couldn’t fall asleep straight away. That’s why I think being overloaded with schoolwork is exhausting.
Secondly, I think being overloaded with schoolwork is stressful too because I’m scared that I can’t finish my homework and hand it in on time. Why am I scared? Because the teachers always say if you don’t hand in your work on time, they will give you a punishment, such as needing to copy Text 1’s article two times, which gives me a lot of pressure. That’s the reason why I’m stressed about being overloaded with schoolwork.
Although being overloaded with schoolwork is tiring and stressful, it’s also a good experience for me to learn something useful, such as time management. I can make use of time by doing some homework at school. Then, when I get home, I don’t need to spend a lot of time doing homework. Besides, it can help me prepare for future challenges in life. After I find a problem in my academic life, I’ll need to find a solution to solve it. This could help me develop problem-solving skills, which are valuable both in my academic life and in my future. That is also a reason why I think it’s a good experience.
In conclusion, being overloaded with schoolwork is tiring and stressful because of the work and pressure we have to deal with, but it’s also a good chance for me to learn something handy.
